"Now that I've met you, would you object to never seeing each other again?" Paul Thomas Anderson heard that lyric in Aimee Mann's song Deathly and turned it into a line of dialogue. That line in turn inspired the whole script of this wonderfully complex movie. I just rewatched last night. Amazing.
