sad days

On KCRW this morning they told the story of one of the victims of the terrible tragedy in Arizona, Dorwin Stoddard, and it moved me to tears. Mr. Stoddard was 76 years old and had married his wife when they were in their 60s after a lifetime of friendship. He died shielding her from the gunfire. My thoughts and heart go out to all the victims of this senseless act and their grieving families.
